CAP runs training courses for local groups and
activists which are aimed at helping them to manage their work in
the community better. The
kinds of courses that we provide include:
Project Management for local groups. Management courses are made up of modules such as Committee Skills, Planning, Evaluation, Financial Management, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, and Employment Procedures and Practices. Facilitation and Group Work Skills. Theories and Practice in Community Development. Policy Development and Social Analysis. Taster workshops. CAP regularly run a series of capacity building "taster workshops" for community groups to help them identify their training needs. Training Courses are provided either by a group or number of groups making a request to us for training or when CAP identifies a need for particular types of training among a number of groups. All our training courses are free to participants. |
